AMTRIS CREAM 50 GM is an antifungal medication commonly used to treat fungal infections of the nails (onychomycosis) and the skin. It is available in various forms, including nail lacquer and creams, for topical application.
AMTRIS CREAM 50 GM works by inhibiting the growth and spread of fungal infections. When applied to the affected nail, it penetrates the nail and inhibits the growth of the fungus, allowing the healthy nail to grow back.
AMTRIS CREAM 50 GM is primarily used to treat fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) and superficial skin fungal infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds.
AMTRIS CREAM 50 GM is applied topically. For nail infections, it is commonly available as a nail lacquer that should be applied to the affected nails once or twice a week.
It's generally recommended to avoid using regular nail polish or nail varnish while using AMTRIS CREAM 50 GM nail lacquer(liquid). These products can interfere with the medication's effectiveness.
There are no known interactions of AMTRIS CREAM 50 GM with other drugs.
Before applying AMTRIS CREAM 50 GM, gently clean the affected skin area with mild soap and water. Ensure that the skin is thoroughly dry before applying the medication. Do not apply more or less than the recommended amount, and continue using the medication for the entire prescribed duration, even if you start to feel better before the treatment is complete. Fungal infections can recur if not fully treated.
