About CABOZANIB 20 TABLET 30'S

CABOZANIB 20 TABLET 30'S is a medicine used to treat certain types of cancer. Its main active ingredient is called Cabozantinib. It belongs to a group of medicines known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors, which work by blocking certain signals that cancer cells need to grow and spread.
CABOZANIB 20 TABLET 30'S is used in adults for advanced kidney cancer and advanced or spread differentiated thyroid cancer. It is also prescribed for liver cancer when another medicine called Sorafenib has stopped working. Sometimes, for advanced kidney cancer, this medicine is given along with another drug called Nivolumab. It should not be used in people under 18 years old.
It is important *not* to take CABOZANIB 20 TABLET 30'S if you are allergic to Cabozantinib or any other ingredients in the tablet. Tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have liver problems, inflammatory bowel disease (like Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis), high blood pressure, heart problems, or severe diarrhea. Mention any history of blood clots, problems with blood vessels (like swelling or tears), or significant bleeding.
