  • DACILON 0.5 INJECTION is an antibiotic medication that belongs to the antineoplastics class. Its active ingredient, Dactinomycin, is used to manage various cancers, including Wilms’ tumor (a kidney cancer common in children), Ewing’s sarcoma (a bone cancer), melanoma (skin cancer), testicular and uterine cancers, and rhabdomyosarcoma (a rare muscle cancer). It functions by preventing the reproduction of cells, especially abnormal ones, thereby slowing down the progression of the disease.
  • Before using DACILON 0.5 INJECTION, inform your doctor if you are allergic to Dactinomycin or any other components of the injection or if you currently have chickenpox or shingles.
