  • FEMILON TABLET 21'S is an oral hormonal pill containing desogestrel and ethinylestradiol. It's mainly used for birth control to prevent pregnancy. It works by combining female hormones (like estrogen and progestogen) to stop the ovaries from releasing eggs. Besides preventing pregnancy, it can also help with painful and irregular periods, a condition called dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea can cause symptoms like stomach pain, digestive issues, feeling faint, throwing up, and nausea. Taking FEMILON TABLET 21'S can ease these symptoms and make periods more manageable.
  • Don't take FEMILON TABLET 21'S if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients. It's really important to tell your doctor before starting this medicine if you have any allergies to hormones like estrogens or progestins, or if you have a history of serious health problems. This includes conditions like breast cancer, certain eye problems, or issues with your kidneys, liver, or heart (including stroke).
