Composition

Serious side effects include swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat, arms, hands, legs, or feet, trouble swallowing and breathing, and stomach pain with or without nausea/vomiting. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, tiredness, itching or tingling feeling, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, shortness of breath, swollen hands or feet, slow heartbeat, and low blood pressure.
Pregnancy
UNSAFEConsult your healthcare provider if you plan to get pregnant or think you might be pregnant since the medication has not been given to expectant mothers due to the risk of infection to unborn babies through the placenta.
Consult your doctor if you are older and have kidney problems, as they may adjust your medication dosage to avoid complications.
People may experience side effects, including dizziness, drowsiness, or fatigue, after using Teriparatide. In that case, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.

Your doctor may advise you to check the blood pressure before taking any medication. To alleviate constipation, drink plenty of fluids and consume foods high in fiber. Ensure you get sufficient rest to combat tiredness caused by medication. If you experience dizziness, sit or lie down immediately, and avoid operating heavy machinery.
