Cytasted 50mg Injection contains the active ingredient Cytarabine, an antineoplastic drug belonging to the antimetabolite class. It is used, either alone or in combination with other chemotherapy drugs, to treat various types of leukemia, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). These are blood cancers characterized by an excessive number of white blood cells.
