FEMILON TABLET 21'S is a contraceptive pill that combines desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol hormones. Its primary purpose is to prevent pregnancy.
FEMILON TABLET 21'S prevents pregnancy by stopping the release of eggs, making it difficult for sperm to reach the egg, and creating a less suitable environment for the egg to attach and grow in the womb.
FEMILON TABLET 21'S should not be taken by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It should also not be taken by women who have a history of blood clots, stroke, heart disease, or liver disease. So, before taking the medicine, inform your doctor about all the underlying medical conditions.
FEMILON TABLET 21'S contains two active ingredients called desogestrel and ethinylestradiol.
The common side effects of FEMILON TABLET 21'S are tiredness, stomach pain, leg cramping, vision loss, chest pain, decreased appetite, fever, dark urine, jaundice, mood swings, and tender breasts.
Inform your doctor before taking any other medicine with FEMILON TABLET 21'S. Do not change or skip doses without consulting your doctor.
While on FEMILON TABLET 21'S, regularly visit your doctor for check-ups. Conduct monthly self-exams of your breasts. Inform your doctor before any blood tests or surgeries. Follow your doctor’s advice on when to stop and resume taking the pill to reduce the risk of blood clots. If informed about sugar intolerance, consult your doctor before use.
