Certain precautions and warnings exist to consider that MEROFIC 1GM INJECTION is excreted mainly through the kidneys. Dose adjustment may be necessary for patients with impaired kidney function, and careful monitoring is recommended.
MEROFIC 1GM INJECTION treats infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including complicated intra-abdominal infections, skin structure infections, community-acquired pneumonia, and urinary tract infections.
If you experience diarrhea during the treatment with MEROFIC 1GM INJECTION, staying hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids is important. Your doctor may use over-the-counter or prescription medications to help manage your diarrhea. If your diarrhea is severe, you should contact your doctor.
Common side effects of MEROFIC 1GM INJECTION may include diarrhea, nausea, headache, rash, itching, or pain at the injection site. Serious allergic reactions are rare but possible. It's important to seek medical emergency if you experience severe side effects.
There are no known significant interactions of MEROFIC 1GM INJECTION with other drugs.
