Common side effects of Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet may include: Bleeding gums, Nosebleeds, Heavy periods, Prolonged bleeding from cuts, Red spots on skin, Unexplained bruising, Blood in urine, Blood in stools, Headache, Dizziness, Fatigue, Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal pain, Diarrhea, Skin rash, Hair loss. Less common but potentially serious side effects include: Severe allergic reactions (hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat), Signs of a blood clot (pain, swelling, warmth, redness in an extremity; chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden severe headache, trouble speaking or seeing), Liver problems (yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, pale stools, severe abdominal pain), Unusual bleeding or bruising. Consult your doctor if you experience any side effects while taking Acitrom.

Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet is used to prevent blood clots from forming, especially in people who are at risk of heart attack, stroke, or other cardiovascular problems.
Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet works by blocking the production of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors, which reduces the likelihood of blood clots forming.
The dosage of Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet varies depending on the individual's medical condition and INR (International Normalized Ratio) levels. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage tailored to your specific needs.
Common side effects of Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet include bleeding, bruising, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Consult your doctor if you experience any persistent or severe side effects.
Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is best to take it consistently in the same way each day.
Store Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
If you miss a dose of Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose.
Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet can interact with many medications, including aspirin, NSAIDs, and certain antibiotics. Inform your doctor about all the medications, herbs, and supplements you are taking.
While taking Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet, avoid alcohol consumption, avoid activities that may cause injury, and inform your doctor about any surgeries or dental procedures.
Acitrom 0.5mg Tablet is generally not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your doctor to discuss the potential benefits and risks.
Warfarin is a common alternative to Acitrom. Other alternatives include newer oral anticoagulants (NOACs) such as rivaroxaban, apixaban, and dabigatran.
Hair loss is an uncommon side effect of Acitrom. If you experience hair loss, talk to your doctor.
Acitrom and Warfarin are both anticoagulants, but Acitrom is a brand name while Warfarin is the generic name of the active drug.
The effects of Acitrom can be reversed with Vitamin K. In severe bleeding cases, transfusions of concentrated clotting factors or plasma may be necessary.
Liver problems are a rare side effect of Acitrom. Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms of liver damage such as jaundice or abdominal pain.
