How AFDURA TABLET 10'S Works

• AFDURA TABLET 10'S contains the molecules alfuzosin and dutasteride. Alfuzosin belongs to a class of drugs called alpha-blockers, which relax the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that works by reducing the production of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which contributes to prostate enlargement.
• Together, all the active ingredients of AFDURA TABLET 10'S work by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck (alfuzosin) and reducing the production of dihydrotestosterone (dutasteride), thereby improving urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and promoting the shrinkage of the prostate gland over time.

Common side effects of AfDURA Tablet may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, constipation, loss of appetite, dry mouth, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, weakness, skin rash, itching, and changes in taste. Less common side effects may include anxiety, confusion, depression, insomnia, nervousness, tremors, blurred vision, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), increased sweating, and difficulty urinating.
