How AGOTY TABLET 10'S Works

• Each ingredient acts on a different part of the nerve pain process.
• Agmatine is a compound the body makes from the amino acid arginine. It acts as a neuromodulator, meaning it adjusts how strongly nerve cells pass pain signals along. It has been studied in people with nerve pain caused by a slipped lumbar disc.
• Palmitoylethanolamide, often shortened to PEA, is a fatty compound the body produces in response to tissue injury. It calms mast cells and other immune cells that release inflammatory substances around irritated nerves. Small clinical studies have tested it in diabetic neuropathy and in sciatica.
• L-carnitine carries fatty acids into mitochondria, the parts of a cell that produce energy. Nerve cells need a steady energy supply to maintain and repair themselves.
• Piperine slows the breakdown of some compounds in the gut and liver, so more of the other ingredients reach the bloodstream.

Published studies of the individual ingredients report mostly stomach-related effects. In the agmatine dose-escalation study, mild diarrhoea and nausea appeared only at the highest dose tested and settled once treatment stopped. Carnitine supplements at high amounts are associated with nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea and a fishy body odour. Carnitine has been associated with seizures in people who already have a seizure disorder, so anyone with epilepsy needs a doctor's advice before starting. • Get nerve pain, tingling or numbness diagnosed before starting any supplement for it
• Continue prescribed diabetes and pain medicines alongside this product
• Take it with or after food if it causes stomach upset
• Tell the doctor about epilepsy, kidney disease or thyroid treatment before starting
• Mention any blood thinner, since carnitine can strengthen the effect of warfarin
• Keep blood sugar under control, as poorly controlled diabetes keeps damaging nerves
