ALBUCEL 5% INJECTION 100 ML contains a key ingredient called human albumin. This medicine is a liquid preparation of albumin made from human plasma (the liquid part of blood). It is primarily used to replace blood or body fluids that have been lost from your body due to various medical reasons. Think of it as a way to help restore and maintain the normal amount of fluid circulating in your blood vessels.
Conditions that can cause significant fluid loss include major bleeding, surgical procedures, or treatments like kidney dialysis. When you lose a lot of fluid, your blood volume drops, which can be dangerous. ALBUCEL 5% INJECTION 100 ML is given to help bring that volume back up.
