Common side effects of Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet may include nausea, diarrhea, stomach upset, headache, hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), and taste changes. Less common but potentially serious side effects are allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), liver problems (jaundice, dark urine), blood disorders (anemia, easy bleeding/bruising), and severe hypoglycemia requiring medical intervention. Other reported side effects are visual disturbances, constipation, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Consult your doctor if you experience any persistent or worsening side effects.

Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient to control blood sugar levels.
Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines, glimepiride and metformin. Glimepiride belongs to the sulfonylurea class which works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas. Metformin belongs to the class of medicines called biguanides which works by decreasing glucose production in the liver, decreasing absorption of glucose from the intestines, and improving insulin sensitivity.
The common side effects of Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite.
The safety of Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet during pregnancy has not been established. Therefore, it is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
It is not known whether Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet is excreted in breast milk. Therefore, it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor.
Store Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet may cause weight gain. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned about weight gain.
Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet can cause low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), especially if you skip meals or exercise vigorously. Symptoms of hypoglycemia include shaking, sweating, anxiety, dizziness, and confusion.
If you miss a dose of Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet can interact with other medications. Tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in people with kidney disease. Talk to your doctor if you have kidney disease.
While taking Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet, you should avoid drinking alcohol and skipping meals.
Some other brands of Glimepiride include Amaryl, Glimi, and Glyril.
Some other brands of Metformin include Glucophage, Gluconorm, and Metrol.
Symptoms of an overdose of Amaryl M Forte 1mg Tablet include low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.
