Like all medicines, AZEL 160 TABLET 7'S can cause unwanted side effects, although not everybody gets them. Side effects are simply unwanted symptoms caused by the medicine.
Pregnancy
UNSAFEAZEL 160 TABLET 7'S is not recommended for pregnant women as they may cause fetal harm. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy during the treatment.
Before starting treatment with AZEL 160 TABLET 7'S, your healthcare provider will recommend tests for Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests. This blood test measures the level of PSA, a protein produced by the prostate gland that can be elevated in men with prostate cancer. PSA levels can help monitor the progression of the disease and the response to treatment. Other tests also include liver function tests and complete blood count(CBC).
If you missed taking a dose of AZEL 160 TABLET 7'S, skip this dose. Do not take two tablets to make up for the missed dose. Report to your healthcare provider right away if you missed taking more than two doses of this drug.
AZEL 160 TABLET 7'S is not recommended for people who are allergic to this drug, and its ingredients. Also, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid taking it, because this drug can harm an unborn baby or pass into breast milk.
It is not recommended to smoke cigarettes while on treatment with AZEL 160 TABLET 7'S as smoking can reduce the concentration of this drug in the body.
Watch out for symptoms like fatigue, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, severe headache and seek immediate medical attention from a nearby healthcare facility.
AZEL 160 TABLET 7'S may interact with other medicines. It is important to tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medications, supplements, and herbal products you are taking to avoid potential interactions.
AZEL 160 TABLET 7'S causes skin dryness so it is advised to use an effective moisturiser for your skin. Ensure that you stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet. Store the drug in the original package at room temperature (25°C). Keep it out of reach from children and pets. It is important to get the dose at the scheduled time. If you missed the schedule, contact your doctor and reschedule the dose. Avoid driving or operating heavy machines if you experience dizziness, nausea or tiredness while on treatment with this drug.
