Cytodrox 500MG Capsule contains hydroxyurea as an active ingredient. Hydroxyurea inhibits ribonucleotide reductase, an enzyme necessary for DNA synthesis. This inhibits the growth and multiplication of cancer cells. It helps in sickle cell disease by raising foetal haemoglobin levels in red blood cells. This allows RBCs to return to their original form, improves blood flow, and protects against problems like painful sickle cell episodes.
Take Cytodrox 500MG Capsule at the dose and for the duration prescribed by your doctor. Cytodrox 500MG Capsule can be taken with or without food, although it is best to take it at the same time every day.
The maximal effect of Cytodrox 500MG Capsule is visible within 1-4 hours of ingestion.
