UNSAFEDEGALIX 120 INJECTION is unsafe when administered during pregnancy because it may cause birth defects in your baby. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy during the treatment.
DEGALIX 120 INJECTION is prescribed alone and also with other anti-androgen medications to treat hormonal cancer.
DEGALIX 120 INJECTION can harm an unborn baby and result in miscarriage. Hence it is not recommended during pregnancy.
DEGALIX 120 INJECTION is administered as a subcutaneous injection (under the skin), usually in the lower abdomen, once every 28 days.
Injection site reactions, weight gain, chills, hot flashes, hypertension, asthenia, tiredness, fever, constipation, back pain, urinary tract infection, changes in liver enzymes, dizziness, headache, and insomnia are the most common side effects of DEGALIX 120 INJECTION.
DEGALIX 120 INJECTION is not recommended for men who have a history of severe allergic reactions to the medication.
Information regarding interactions of DEGALIX 120 INJECTION with other drugs should be discussed with a healthcare professional.
DEGALIX 120 INJECTION can cause hot flashes, hence it is advised to wear loose-fitting clothes to avoid discomfort. Eat a well-balanced diet. If you feel dizzy or tired, avoid driving or handling machines. Do not touch or rub your skin after injecting this medicine.
The main active ingredient in DEGALIX 120 INJECTION is Degarelix.
DEGALIX 120 INJECTION is prescribed for treating certain types of cancer.
