DISTOSIDE 600MG TABLET 4'S is primarily used to treat infections caused by parasitic worms, such as schistosomiasis, liver fluke infections, and tapeworm infections.
DISTOSIDE 600MG TABLET 4'S should not be taken if you are allergic to praziquantel or any of its ingredients, have cysticercosis of the eye, or are taking rifampicin (an antibiotic for tuberculosis). Rifampicin can reduce the effectiveness of this drug.
DISTOSIDE 600MG TABLET 4'S is suitable for both children and adults, but the dosage may vary based on age, weight, and the type of parasitic infection.
DISTOSIDE 600MG TABLET 4'S is taken orally in tablet form. The dosage and duration of treatment depend on the specific type of parasitic infection being treated and your physician's instructions.
Inform your physician if you have liver problems, heart disease, a history of epilepsy, or brain worm infections before taking DISTOSIDE 600MG TABLET 4'S. Special care may be needed in these situations.
There are no known significant negative interactions of DISTOSIDE 600MG TABLET 4'S with other drugs.
Diarrhea can lead to dehydration and fluid loss. It's necessary to drink plenty of fluids, such as water, oral rehydration solutions, or clear broths when using DISTOSIDE 600MG TABLET 4'S to address diarrhea.
