About DTM 90 SR TABLET 10'S
- Diltiazem, an ingredient in DTM SR, is a member of the ANTIHYPERTENSIVE class of medications. Adults who have mild to moderate high blood pressure are treated with it. Additionally, it is used to both prevent and cure angina pectoris-related chest pain. Reduced blood supply to the heart causes angina pectoris, a form of chest pain that involves symptoms including a crushing sensation in the chest, shortness of breath, weakness, and weariness. Diltiazem reduces blood pressure and improves the flow of blood and oxygen to the heart by interfering with the passage of calcium into the cells of the heart and blood vessels.
