- DUTAS CAPSULE 30'S is a medication primarily used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. DHT is a hormone that contributes to the growth of the prostate gland and is responsible for hair loss in men with androgenetic alopecia. By inhibiting the production of DHT, DUTAS CAPSULE 30'S helps to reduce the size of the prostate gland in men with BPH, alleviating urinary symptoms and improving urine flow. It also promotes hair regrowth and prevents further hair loss in men with male pattern hair loss. DUTAS CAPSULE 30'S has a longer half-life than other similar medications, allowing for once-daily dosing.
