The side effects of DUVANTA NP 40MG TABLET 10'S may include: * **Common Side Effects:** Nausea, Vomiting, Constipation, Diarrhea, Drowsiness, Dizziness, Headache, Dry mouth, Increased sweating, Blurred vision, Difficulty in urination, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden drop in blood pressure upon standing), Weight gain, Increased appetite, Fatigue, Weakness, Tremors, Muscle stiffness, Restlessness, Anxiety, Insomnia, Memory problems, Confusion, Impaired coordination, Changes in libido, Erectile dysfunction. * **Uncommon Side Effects:** Akathisia (restlessness and inability to sit still), Dystonia (muscle spasms and contractions), Tardive dyskinesia (involuntary movements, often of the face and tongue), Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (a rare but life-threatening reaction with fever, muscle rigidity, and altered mental status), Seizures, Irregular heartbeat, Changes in blood sugar levels, Liver problems, Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), Breast enlargement in men (gynecomastia), Galactorrhea (milk production in women who are not breastfeeding), Menstrual irregularities, Decreased white blood cell count (leukopenia), Agranulocytosis (a dangerous drop in white blood cell count), Blood clots, Difficulty swallowing, Speech problems, Hair loss, Skin discoloration, Sensitivity to sunlight, Glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye), Urinary retention. * **Rare Side Effects:** Cardiac arrest, Sudden death, Pancreatitis, Intestinal obstruction, Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis). **Note:** This is not an exhaustive list, and individual experiences may vary. Common side effects of Duvanta NP 40mg Tablet include nausea, dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, and sleepiness.
Duvanta NP 40mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day.
It may take a few weeks for Duvanta NP 40mg Tablet to become effective.
Duvanta NP 40mg Tablet should not be stopped abruptly. The dosage should be gradually reduced to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
