How ECOSPRIN 75MG TABLET 14'S Works

• Aspirin irreversibly blocks the platelet enzyme cyclo-oxygenase-1. This reduces thromboxane A2, a signal that activates platelets and supports clot formation. Platelets remain affected for their lifespan, so the effect continues after aspirin has left the blood. Because platelets cannot make new enzyme, their clotting activity returns as the body produces new platelets. The effect is systemic and does not depend on where a clot may form. The enteric coating delays tablet dissolution but does not change aspirin's antiplatelet action or eliminate bleeding risk.

Indigestion, stomach discomfort, nausea and easy bruising can occur. Aspirin increases bleeding risk, including bleeding from the stomach or intestines. Rarely, it can trigger severe allergy or breathing symptoms, especially in people with aspirin-sensitive asthma. Black stools, vomiting blood, unusual bleeding, facial swelling or difficulty breathing requires urgent medical attention.
