About ELECTRAL POWDER 22 GM
- It is used to recover fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration. It can be used by people who suffer from gastrointestinal disorders such as diarrhoea and vomiting. It serves as an oral rehydration saline (ORS) prescription recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO). It is also useful in the treatment of metabolic acidosis. In some cases, people who are recovering from the disease or suffering from heat stroke are also advised to use this powder.,Simply put, ORS is just a mixture of salt and sugar. Dehydration occurs when the body's water and electrolytes are not balanced by replenishing lost salt and water. ORS is recommended to prevent dehydration. The ORS salt and sugar blend stimulates the absorption of water and electrolytes from the intestines and helps replace the salt lost during diarrhoea and vomiting.
