  • ELIGARD DEPOT 45MG INJECTION contains the medicine Leuprolide acetate. It belongs to a group of medicines called GnRH agonists. This medicine works by reducing the levels of certain hormones in the body. This is why it's used to treat conditions that depend on these hormones. In men, it treats prostate cancer. In women, it can help with hormone-responsive breast cancer, endometriosis (where tissue similar to the womb lining grows elsewhere), and uterine fibroids (non-cancerous growths in the womb). It's also used in children with central precocious puberty, which is when a child starts developing physically too early because of hormone signals from the brain. It helps slow down or stop this early development.
  • Do not use ELIGARD DEPOT 45MG INJECTION if you are allergic to Leuprolide acetate, Goserelin, Triptorlin, or any other ingredients in the injection. You should not take this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
