ENTELIEVA 0.5MG TABLET 30'S may cause serious side effects such as lactic acidosis (muscle pain, troubled breathing, stomach pain, irregular heartbeat, cold, especially in arms and legs, dizziness) and liver problems (yellow skin and whites of the eyes, dark urine, light-colored stools, lower stomach pain). Common side effects include headache, inability to sleep, extreme tiredness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and indigestion.
Pregnancy
CONSULT YOUR DOCTORInform your physician if you are pregnant, suspecting, or planning to get pregnant during the treatment. ENTELIEVA 0.5MG TABLET 30'S should not be taken while pregnant unless specifically advised by your doctor.
ENTELIEVA 0.5MG TABLET 30'S is used to treat hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in adults, children, and adolescents (2-18 years old).
ENTELIEVA 0.5MG TABLET 30'S works by inhibiting the DNA synthesis in the Hepatitis B virus by competing with a natural substrate (deoxyguanosine triphosphate), reducing the viral count, and improving liver conditions.
Nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, insomnia (inability to sleep), fatigue (extreme tiredness), and indigestion are the common side effects of ENTELIEVA 0.5MG TABLET 30'S.
ENTELIEVA 0.5MG TABLET 30'S may cause lactic acidosis (excess lactic acid in the blood), a rare but severe adverse effect, particularly in obese women. But if you have nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain while taking this drug, please contact your physician immediately.
There are no known interactions of ENTELIEVA 0.5MG TABLET 30'S with other drugs.
Sharing needles or other private items that might have blood or body fluids on them is not advised as it may spread HBV or HIV to others. Regular blood tests are recommended to evaluate your liver function, hepatitis B virus level, and blood cell count. It is advised to take the hepatitis B vaccine to avoid hepatitis B infection. ENTELIEVA 0.5MG TABLET 30'S contains lactose as an inactive ingredient in which the body is unable to digest lactose, a sugar found in milk and dairy products. It can cause symptoms such as bloating and abdominal pain. If you have lactose intolerance, inform your doctor before starting this therapy. Driving or using machinery should be avoided if you feel lightheaded, tired, or sleepy.
