Common side effects of ENZOFLAM TABLET 10'S may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, and skin rash. Less common but potentially serious side effects include allergic reactions (such as hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, difficulty breathing), stomach ulcers, bleeding, liver problems (such as jaundice, dark urine, persistent fatigue), kidney problems (such as changes in urine output, swelling of ankles/feet), increased blood pressure, and heart problems. Some patients might experience fluid retention, blurred vision, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), or mood changes. This is not an exhaustive list; if you experience any unusual symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.

No, ENZOFLAM TABLET 10'S is not a steroid.
Alcohol should be avoided while taking ENZOFLAM TABLET 10'S as it can increase side effects.
ENZOFLAM TABLET 10'S contains a combination of diclofenac and serratiopeptidase that helps reduce pain and inflammation, but the combination may be different in other brands.
Enzoflam is used for short-term relief of pain and inflammation. It is commonly prescribed for acute musculoskeletal pain, sprains and strains, low back or neck pain, soft tissue injuries, and post-operative or post-dental extraction pain and swelling. It may also be used for painful flare-ups of joint disorders when a doctor considers a combination analgesic appropriate.
Enzoflam usually combines diclofenac, paracetamol, and serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac is an NSAID that reduces prostaglandin production, thereby decreasing pain, inflammation, and fever. Paracetamol acts mainly in the central nervous system to relieve pain and reduce fever. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme believed to help break down inflammatory proteins and reduce tissue swelling, which may support faster resolution of edema and pain.
Enzoflam is not intended for long-term or continuous use. Prolonged use of NSAID-containing combinations can increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers, kidney impairment, liver injury (especially due to paracetamol), and cardiovascular events in susceptible individuals. It should be used at the lowest effective strength for the shortest duration, strictly as advised by a doctor. For chronic pain, your clinician may recommend alternative strategies.
Self-medication with Enzoflam is not recommended. Because it contains an NSAID and paracetamol, inappropriate use can lead to serious side effects, particularly in people with underlying stomach, liver, kidney, heart, or bleeding disorders, or those taking interacting medicines. A doctor should assess whether this combination is suitable for you and advise on duration and monitoring.
Enzoflam should generally be avoided in people with a history of allergy to diclofenac, paracetamol, serratiopeptidase, or other NSAIDs; those with active or recurrent peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding; severe liver or kidney impairment; severe heart failure; a history of NSAID-induced asthma or severe allergic reactions; and in late pregnancy unless specifically advised by a specialist. It should also be used cautiously or avoided in patients on certain blood thinners or with uncontrolled hypertension.
Use of Enzoflam during pregnancy is not routinely recommended. NSAIDs like diclofenac can affect the fetal cardiovascular system, especially in the third trimester, and may increase the risk of complications such as premature closure of the ductus arteriosus and reduced amniotic fluid. Paracetamol is generally considered safer when used alone at recommended limits, but the fixed-dose combination should only be used if a doctor judges that the potential benefit outweighs the risks and prescribes it specifically.
Limited information is available on the use of the full Enzoflam combination during breastfeeding. Small amounts of diclofenac and paracetamol can pass into breast milk, but paracetamol alone is usually considered compatible with breastfeeding at recommended doses. Because Enzoflam is a combination product and includes an enzyme component, it should be used with caution and only on medical advice in breastfeeding women. If prescribed, the lowest effective strength for the shortest duration should be used, and the infant should be monitored for unusual symptoms.
Commonly reported side effects with Enzoflam (mainly due to the NSAID component) may include nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort or pain, indigestion, heartburn, diarrhea or constipation, headache, dizziness, and a feeling of weakness. Some people may experience mild skin rash or itching. Serious but less common adverse effects include gastrointestinal bleeding or ulceration, severe allergic reactions, liver enzyme elevation, kidney function impairment, and worsening of blood pressure or heart failure in susceptible patients. Any severe or persistent symptom requires prompt medical attention.
Alcohol intake should be avoided or kept to a minimum while taking Enzoflam. Alcohol can increase the risk of liver damage associated with paracetamol and may also enhance the risk of gastrointestinal irritation and bleeding linked to diclofenac. Combining alcohol with this medicine can therefore significantly raise the likelihood of serious liver and stomach complications.
Enzoflam may cause dizziness, drowsiness, visual disturbances, or fatigue in some individuals, particularly at the start of therapy or when taken with other medicines that act on the central nervous system. If you feel dizzy, sleepy, or less alert after taking Enzoflam, you should avoid driving, operating machinery, or performing tasks that require full concentration until you know how the medicine affects you.
Enzoflam should not be taken together with other NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, naproxen, or additional diclofenac) or with other paracetamol-containing products, as this can increase the risk of gastrointestinal, renal, and hepatic toxicity. If your current treatment includes any painkiller or cold/flu preparation, inform your doctor or pharmacist so they can check for overlapping ingredients and adjust your regimen safely.
If you miss a scheduled dose of Enzoflam and are on a prescribed course, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one. If you are unsure how to proceed or if you frequently forget doses, consult your doctor for guidance.
