EVERMIL 10 TABLET 10'S is a medicine used to treat certain types of cancers. It belongs to a group of medicines called mTOR kinase inhibitors. It is used for advanced breast cancer, a type of kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma), and a type of pancreas tumour (pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours). It also treats a specific brain tumour found in children and adults called subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA). EVERMIL 10 TABLET 10'S works by helping to slow down the growth of these cancer cells. Taking care of your mouth is very important while on this treatment. Brush your teeth gently and see your dentist regularly, as this medicine can cause painful sores in your mouth. Sometimes, for SEGA, it's used together with another medicine called cyclophosphamide.
Taking EVERMIL 10 TABLET 10'S can increase your risk of getting infections from bacteria or viruses. If you have ever had Hepatitis B, there's a higher chance it could become active again. Watch out for signs of infection like fever, chills, cough, or feeling unwell, and tell your doctor. Also, look out for symptoms that could mean Hepatitis B is back, such as yellow skin or eyes (jaundice), joint pain, or swelling. It's important to protect your skin from the sun and UV light because this medicine might increase your risk of developing skin cancers. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen regularly.
