How EVION LC TABLET 10'S Works

• Levocarnitine carries long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria, the parts of a cell that produce energy. Muscle cells rely on this route for fuel, especially during sustained work. When carnitine is low, muscles tire and cramp more easily.
• Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that sits in cell membranes. It neutralises free radicals, the unstable molecules produced during energy use and inflammation, before they damage the membrane. Together, the two nutrients support energy supply and protection in muscle cells.

Evion LC is usually well tolerated at the recommended amount. Nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and diarrhoea are the effects most often linked with carnitine, and higher amounts of carnitine can also cause a fishy body odour. Carnitine has been associated with seizures in people who already have a seizure disorder. Vitamin E at high amounts can increase bleeding, particularly with blood thinners. Unusual bruising, bleeding gums, blood in the urine or stools, or a seizure needs prompt medical attention.

• If you miss a dose of Evion LC Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.

• Store the strip in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and follow the storage instruction printed on the current pack. Keep it out of the reach of children, and do not use it after the expiry date.

• Take it after a meal for better vitamin E absorption
• Tell the doctor about any blood thinner before starting
• Stop and seek advice for unusual bruising or bleeding
• Avoid taking several vitamin E supplements at once
• See a doctor if cramps are frequent, severe or come with weakness

• Taking Evion LC with a meal helps absorb the vitamin E. No other food interactions are known. Nuts, seeds and vegetable oils are natural sources of vitamin E, and meat and dairy supply carnitine.
