About GLIMED 4MG TABLET 10'S
- Glimed 4mg contains glimepiride, a medication of the sulfonylurea class of drugs that lowers blood sugar. It is used to treat diabetes (a disease where the body does not produce enough insulin to control the level of blood sugar). Blood sugar levels are controlled with oral hypoglycemics. It is applied to the management of Type II (non-insulin dependent) diabetes. When you have type 2 diabetes mellitus, the body either produces insufficient insulin or the insulin it does generate does not function properly. High blood sugar can result from an excess of sugar being produced by the body, which builds up in the blood. Serious health issues may result from this.
