Allergies
CautionUse caution if you are allergic to Glycipen Glaritus.
Glycipen Glaritus is a medication used to treat diabetes. It contains a combination of Insulin Glargine and Glimepiride.
Glycipen Glaritus is used to control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes.
Glycipen Glaritus works in two ways: Insulin Glargine is a long-acting insulin that lowers blood sugar levels, and Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea that helps the body produce more insulin.
Common side effects of Glycipen Glaritus include low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), weight gain, and injection site reactions.
Always take Glycipen Glaritus as directed by your doctor. It is usually administered as an injection once a day, with or without food.
If you miss a dose of Glycipen Glaritus, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time.
Store Glycipen Glaritus in the refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Do not freeze it. Once in use, it can be stored at room temperature for up to 28 days.
Glycipen Glaritus should be used during pregnancy only if the benefit outweighs the risk. Consult your doctor.
It is not known whether Glycipen Glaritus passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before using it during breastfeeding.
Yes, Glycipen Glaritus can interact with other medications. Tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and herbal supplements.
An overdose of Glycipen Glaritus can cause low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Seek immediate medical attention if you think you have taken too much Glycipen Glaritus.
Yes, Glycipen Glaritus can cause weight gain. Monitor your weight and talk to your doctor if you are concerned.
While taking Glycipen Glaritus, avoid drinking excessive alcohol, as it can lead to low blood sugar.
Other diabetes medications should only be taken with Glycipen Glaritus under the advice of a doctor.
If you experience hypoglycemia after using Glycipen Glaritus, immediately eat or drink something sugary or carbohydrate-rich, such as fruit juice, honey, or glucose tablets.
