  • HEMLIBRA 30MG/ML INJECTION contains Emicizumab, a type of medicine known as a monoclonal antibody. It is used to help control bleeding in people with hemophilia A. Specifically, it is prescribed for adults and children who have hemophilia A with factor VIII inhibitors, and also for those with severe hemophilia A (meaning their factor VIII blood level is less than 1%) who have not developed these inhibitors.
  • Hemophilia A is a genetic condition where the body doesn't make enough of a specific protein called factor VIII. Factor VIII is crucial for blood clotting, which helps stop bleeding. Without enough factor VIII, people with hemophilia A can experience frequent and prolonged bleeding episodes, sometimes without any obvious injury.
