How HONITUS SYRUP 100 ML Works

• Honey and Vasa are traditionally used as demulcents, coating the irritated throat lining to reduce irritation and the urge to cough. Tulsi and Sunthi are traditionally used to help loosen thick mucus, making it easier to clear from the airways.
• Kantakari and Haridra are traditionally included for their soothing action on the airways, and Pippali is traditionally used to support the body's resistance during a cold. Together, these ingredients are intended to ease throat irritation, loosen mucus and support comfortable breathing during a cold.

Nausea, abdominal discomfort and a mild stomach upset are the most commonly reported effects. An allergic reaction to any ingredient is uncommon but needs immediate medical attention if it occurs, including a rash, itching, hives or swelling. Drowsiness and dizziness have also been reported.

• If you miss a dose of Honitus Syrup, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.

• Store the bottle in its original pack, below 25°C unless the pack states otherwise, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of the reach of children.

• Shake the bottle well before each use and measure the dose with the cup provided
• Take after meals to reduce the chance of stomach upset
• Stay well hydrated and drink warm fluids to help soothe the throat
• Do not give to infants under one year of age, due to the honey content
• Seek medical advice if cough or sore throat persists beyond about a week
• Seek prompt medical attention for high fever, breathing difficulty or chest pain

• Honitus is generally taken after meals. There is no other specific food interaction established for this product.
