• Aqueous humor is produced by the ciliary body, located behind the iris, and it nourishes the eye's internal structures. After circulating, it drains out through a meshwork of tissues called the trabecular meshwork and the uveoscleral pathway. In individuals with glaucoma or ocular hypertension, the outflow of aqueous humor is often impaired, leading to a buildup of fluid and increased intraocular pressure.
• INTAPROST EYE DROPS 3 ML works by mimicking the effects of naturally occurring prostaglandins in the eye. Prostaglandins are lipid compounds that have hormone-like effects.
