About IRNOCAM 100 INJECTION

  • IRNOCAM 100 INJECTION belongs to a class of medications known as anti-cancer medicines or cytostatics. Its active ingredient is Irinotecan hydrochloride trihydrate. It is used to treat advanced colon and rectal cancer in adults, either alone or with other chemotherapy drugs. Colon and rectal cancer is more common in people over 50, and genetic and environmental factors can increase the risk.
  • The most common side effects of this medicine are myelosuppression (which is when the bone marrow doesn't make enough blood cells, leading to low levels of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets) and diarrhea. Other common side effects include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, anemia, pain, fatigue, fever, infections (including sepsis), abnormal bilirubin levels, hair loss, and weight loss. Tell your doctor if these side effects bother you or don't go away.
  • Tell your doctor if you are allergic to IRNOCAM 100 INJECTION or any of its ingredients.
