Common side effects of JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, headache, dizziness, and metallic taste. Some patients might experience hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), especially when taken with other diabetes medications. Less common but potentially serious side effects include pancreatitis, severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), and joint pain. In rare cases, it can cause lactic acidosis (build-up of lactic acid in the body) and liver problems. It's crucial to consult your doctor if you experience any persistent or severe side effects.

JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels.
JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines, vildagliptin and dapagliflozin. Vildagliptin belongs to a class of medicines called DPP-4 inhibitors, and dapagliflozin belongs to a class of medicines called SGLT2 inhibitors. They work by increasing insulin secretion and decreasing glucose reabsorption, thereby lowering blood sugar levels.
The common side effects of JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and headache.
The safety of JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET during pregnancy has not been established. Therefore, it is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless considered clearly necessary by the doctor.
It is not known whether JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET is excreted in human milk. Therefore, it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.
Store JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET does not usually cause weight gain. However, some patients may experience weight gain.
JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET can cause low blood sugar, especially when used with other diabetes medications such as insulin or sulfonylureas.
If you miss a dose of JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Before taking JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET, tell your doctor about all your medical conditions, allergies, and medications you are taking.
JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET should be used with caution in people with kidney problems, and kidney function should be monitored. It is not recommended in people with severe kidney problems.
JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET should be used with caution in people with liver problems, and liver function should be monitored.
JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET can interact with certain other medications, such as insulin, sulfonylureas, and digoxin.
Continue to take JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET for as long as your doctor tells you to. Do not stop taking it without talking to your doctor.
It is not recommended to drink alcohol while taking JALRA DP 50/5MG TABLET, as it can increase the risk of low blood sugar.
