How KAYAM TABLET 10'S Works

• Senna leaves contain sennosides, compounds that stimulate the muscles of the colon and promote a bowel movement. Nishoth acts as a mild purgative that supports this laxative action.
• Ajwain and yashtimadhu are traditionally used as carminatives, herbs that help ease gas and bloating, while haritaki is traditionally used to support regular bowel function. Black salt and purified svarjika kshara are traditionally used to support digestion and help offset excess stomach acid.

Mild abdominal cramping, loose stools and increased gas can occur, particularly if more than the recommended amount is taken. Prolonged or excessive use of a senna-containing laxative can lead to dependence on it for a bowel movement, or to loss of fluid and salts from the body. An allergic reaction to any herbal ingredient is uncommon but needs medical attention if it occurs. Persistent or severe abdominal pain, or blood in the stool, should be reported to a doctor rather than managed with more of this tablet.

• If you miss a dose of KAYAM TABLET 10'S, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

• Store the tablets in their original pack, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and out of the reach of children and pets. Do not use the tablets after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Swallow the tablet whole with lukewarm water
• Use for short-term or occasional relief of constipation rather than as a long-term routine
• Maintain adequate fluid intake and dietary fibre alongside its use
• Seek medical advice if constipation persists for more than a week
• Seek medical advice for abdominal pain, vomiting or blood in the stool
• Consult a doctor before using during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or for high blood pressure

• Kayam Tablet is generally taken with lukewarm water at bedtime and can be used alongside a normal diet. Adequate fluid intake supports its laxative action.
