Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them. Replace the word "Kidpine Sterile Eye Drop" by "KIDTRO EYE DROPS 5 ML".
Pregnancy
CAUTIONUse Kidtro eye drops during pregnancy only if your doctor clearly recommends them after assessing the benefits and potential risks.
BreastFeeding
CAUTIONIf you are breastfeeding, use Kidtro eye drops only on the advice of your doctor, who will weigh the benefits for you against any potential risk to your baby.
Driving
UNSAFE IF SYMPTOMATICKidtro eye drops may cause temporary blurred vision, mild stinging, or eye discomfort immediately after application in some users.
Alcohol
CAUTIONThere is usually no direct interaction between alcohol and most eye drops, including Kidtro, but alcohol can worsen dehydration and may aggravate some eye symptoms.
Allergies
UNSAFE IF ALLERGICDo not use Kidtro eye drops if you are known to be allergic to any of its active ingredients or excipients, including preservatives such as benzalkonium chloride, if present.
KIDTRO EYE DROPS 5 ML should not be used if you have or suspect you have glaucoma (high pressure in the eye) since it can increase the pressure in the eye or if you are having any eye infection.
When you instill the eye drops for the first time, it can make your eyes watery and may sometimes cause blurred vision. If this happens, it will quickly clear. Make sure you can see clearly again before you drive, or use tools or machines.
You should contact your doctor immediately if you develop an eye infection, conjunctivitis, or an eyelid reaction. Also, you should inform the doctor if you have an eye injury or eye surgery. Discuss with your doctor if you have to continue using KIDTRO EYE DROPS 5 ML.
If you usually wear contact lenses, do not wear them while you're using KIDTRO EYE DROPS 5 ML. You can re-insert the lens 15 minutes after using KIDTRO EYE DROPS 5 ML. Contact your doctor if there is any eye irritation that persists.
Always consult your doctor before using any other eye drops along with KIDTRO EYE DROPS 5 ML. It is advisable to give a gap of atleast 10-15 minutes between the two medications.
The usual dose of this medicine is one to two drops daily. Consult your doctor in case of any doubts.
While using this medicine, if you develop any irritation, pain, swelling, excessive tear production or light-sensitivity in the eyes, remember to flush the treated eye(s) with lots of water (room temperature) for at least 15 minutes. Stop using the eye drops and contact your doctor immediately.
Kidtro eye drops are generally used to treat specific eye conditions such as allergy-related redness, irritation, or other doctor-diagnosed problems. Because the exact active ingredient can vary by brand and region, you should rely on your doctor’s prescription and the official package leaflet to know the precise indication for your product. Do not use Kidtro eye drops for undiagnosed eye pain, infection, or injury without medical advice.
No. Eye redness can be caused by many conditions, including infection, allergy, dryness, injury, or glaucoma. Kidtro eye drops may be suitable only for certain causes, such as allergy-related or mild irritative redness, depending on the formulation. Using them inappropriately could mask a serious problem or delay proper treatment. Always consult an eye specialist if you are unsure of the cause of your redness, especially if it is associated with pain, light sensitivity, or vision changes.
Wash your hands, tilt your head back, and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket. Hold the dropper above the eye and instill only the number of drops prescribed by your doctor, taking care not to touch the tip to your eye or any surface. Close your eyes gently for a minute or two and avoid rubbing them. If you use more than one type of eye drop, ask your doctor how long to wait between different medications to prevent dilution or washout.
Safety in pregnancy depends on the specific active ingredient and how much of it is absorbed into the bloodstream. Many ophthalmic preparations have minimal systemic absorption, but risk cannot be assumed to be zero. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or think you might be pregnant, you should discuss the use of Kidtro eye drops with your doctor. Use them only if your doctor decides that the expected benefit outweighs any potential risk to the unborn baby.
Breastfeeding mothers should use Kidtro eye drops only on medical advice. Although systemic absorption from eye drops is usually low, some active ingredients may pass into breast milk in small amounts. Your doctor will weigh the benefits of treating your eye condition against any theoretical risk to the nursing infant. To further reduce systemic absorption, your doctor may advise gently pressing on the inner corner of the eye (near the nose) for 1–2 minutes after instilling the drops.
Some people may experience temporary blurred vision, mild stinging, or eye discomfort immediately after using Kidtro eye drops. If your vision is blurred or you feel uncomfortable, do not drive, cycle, or operate machinery until your sight is clear and you feel fully alert. If you repeatedly experience prolonged visual disturbance after using the drops, consult your doctor, as your treatment may need to be reviewed.
There is usually no direct interaction between alcohol and most eye drops, including Kidtro, because systemic absorption is limited. However, alcohol can worsen dehydration, may aggravate some eye symptoms, and can impair judgment about eye discomfort or vision changes. If your doctor has prescribed Kidtro eye drops as part of treatment for a more complex eye condition, it is sensible to limit alcohol and follow any specific advice your healthcare provider gives you.
Because Kidtro eye drops are applied to the eye, systemic absorption is generally low, and significant effects on the liver or kidneys are unlikely for most common ophthalmic ingredients. However, in people with severe liver or kidney impairment, even small systemic exposures may be more relevant. If you have chronic liver disease, kidney disease, or are on multiple medications, inform your doctor before using Kidtro eye drops so they can assess overall safety and monitor you if needed.
If you have a history of allergies to eye drops, medications, or preservatives such as benzalkonium chloride, you must tell your doctor before using Kidtro eye drops. Check the ingredient list on the packaging or leaflet. If you develop symptoms such as worsening redness, swelling of the eyelids, severe itching, rash around the eyes, or difficulty breathing after using the drops, stop using them immediately and seek urgent medical attention, as these may be signs of an allergic reaction.
Use of Kidtro eye drops in children should be strictly under pediatric or ophthalmologist supervision. Children’s eyes can be more sensitive, and dosing schedules or duration of treatment may differ from adults. Do not use adult-prescribed eye drops in a child without medical advice. If Kidtro has been specifically prescribed for your child, follow the doctor’s instructions carefully and monitor for any side effects such as increased redness, irritation, or changes in vision or behavior.
If you miss a scheduled application, use the drops as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. If it is close to the next scheduled time, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not apply extra drops to make up for a missed dose, as this may increase the risk of irritation or side effects without improving effectiveness. If you frequently forget doses, speak with your doctor or pharmacist about strategies to help you remember.
