About LENVA 4MG CAPSULE 10'S

LENVA 4MG CAPSULE 10'S contains the active ingredient Lenvatinib, which is primarily used as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is prescribed for the treatment of progressive or advanced thyroid cancer, especially when radioactive iodine therapy proves ineffective. Moreover, it is beneficial for patients with liver cancer, particularly those who have not undergone any prior treatment and are not eligible for surgical options. Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma, a form of advanced thyroid cancer, is more commonly diagnosed in individuals over 60 years of age. Symptoms include an enlarged and firm thyroid gland, accompanied by changes in voice quality like hoarseness, which occurs due to nerve damage in the vocal cords. On the other hand, Hepatocellular carcinoma, a type of liver cancer, often arises from pre-existing liver conditions such as cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B infection.
Patients with known hypersensitivity to lenvatinib or any of its constituents must avoid taking LENVA 4MG CAPSULE 10'S.
