How LIMCEE 500MG TABLET 15'S Works

• Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant that neutralises reactive molecules called free radicals, helping protect cells from oxidative damage.
• It is also a required cofactor for enzymes that build and stabilise collagen, the structural protein found in skin, blood vessels, bone, and connective tissue, which is why deficiency impairs wound healing and weakens blood vessel walls. Separately, vitamin C converts dietary iron into a form that is more easily absorbed in the gut, improving the uptake of iron from vegetables, grains, and other non-meat sources when the two are consumed together.

Vitamin C is generally well tolerated at recommended intakes. Side effects are uncommon and mostly occur with prolonged use of high amounts. Stomach upset, nausea, diarrhoea, heartburn, and abdominal cramps can occur, particularly on an empty stomach or with high intakes. Reducing the amount or taking it with food may help.

• Store away from moisture and out of reach of children
