How MAXIMIN FORTE TABLET 20'S Works

• The B-complex vitamins act as cofactors in the metabolic pathways that convert food into usable energy and support normal nerve function and red blood cell formation. Folic acid and vitamin B12 in particular are needed for cell division and DNA synthesis.
• Vitamin A supports vision and immune function, while vitamin C and vitamin E act as antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress. Zinc, manganese, copper, selenium and chromium are trace minerals that act as cofactors for a range of enzymes, and magnesium supports nerve, muscle and bone function. Vitamin D3 supports calcium absorption and bone health.

Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, constipation and loss of appetite are the most commonly reported effects. Headache and a change in taste have also been reported. An allergic reaction to any ingredient is uncommon but needs immediate medical attention if it occurs, including a rash, itching or swelling.

• If you miss a dose of Maximin Forte Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.

• Store the tablets in their original pack, below 25°C unless the pack states otherwise, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of the reach of children. Do not use the tablets after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Take the tablet with a meal to reduce the chance of stomach upset
• Avoid combining with other multivitamin or mineral supplements without checking the total daily amount
• Tell the doctor about liver or kidney disease before starting
• Limit alcohol, since it can affect how the body processes some of the vitamins
• Seek medical advice for any allergic reaction or persistent gastrointestinal symptoms
• Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding
