How MEGAHEAL GEL 50 GM Works

• Silver particles release small amounts of silver ions, which bind to bacterial cell walls, proteins and DNA and interfere with bacterial growth. This is thought to reduce the number of bacteria on the wound surface.
• The gel also keeps the wound surface moist. A moist, covered wound heals more comfortably than a dry, exposed one and is less likely to form a thick scab.

Stinging, redness, itching or irritation can occur where the gel is applied. An allergic skin reaction is possible in people sensitive to silver or to other ingredients. If the skin around the wound becomes more red, itchy or swollen, the gel should be stopped. Long-term or heavy use of silver products can rarely cause argyria, a permanent grey-blue staining of the skin. Signs of wound infection need medical attention. These include spreading redness, warmth, swelling, pus, a bad smell, increasing pain, red streaks or fever.

• If you forget to apply MEGAHEAL GEL 50 GM, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next application, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed one.

• Store the tube tightly closed in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and follow the storage instruction printed on the current Aristo pack. Keep it out of the reach of children, and do not use it after the expiry date.

• Clean the wound gently before each application
• Use a thin layer and a clean dressing
• Do not share the tube with others
• See a doctor for deep wounds, bites, large burns or signs of infection
• Keep diabetic foot wounds under regular medical review
• Stop if the surrounding skin becomes redder or itchier

• No food interactions are expected, since the gel is applied to the skin. Good nutrition, including enough protein, supports wound healing. Good blood sugar control helps wounds heal in people with diabetes.
