How MUCOLITE SR TABLET 10'S Works

• Mucolite SR Tablet 10s contains Ambroxol, a mucolytic agent.
• Ambroxol thins and loosens thick, sticky mucus in the airways by breaking down its structure, which makes the mucus less viscous and easier to cough up.
• It also supports the natural clearing action of the tiny hair-like cilia in the airways and encourages the release of surfactant, together helping to clear mucus from the chest.
• The sustained-release form releases Ambroxol gradually, so its mucus-clearing effect is maintained over a longer period.

Most side effects are mild and often settle on their own. Tell your doctor if any effect is severe or does not go away, and seek urgent care for signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, swelling of the face or lips, or difficulty breathing.
