How MYNERV PM TABLET 10'S Works

• Pregabalin binds to a subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the nervous system. This can reduce release of signals involved in neuropathic pain. It is not a direct replacement for the body's own nerve tissue and does not guarantee nerve repair. Methylcobalamin participates in vitamin B12-dependent processes that support normal blood and nerve function. The role of the vitamin in this combination does not mean that a deficiency has been diagnosed or that all nerve symptoms will respond.

Pregabalin can cause dizziness, sleepiness, blurred vision, unsteadiness, swelling of the limbs, weight gain, dry mouth or difficulty concentrating. Nausea and other effects were also reported in the Indian open-label study of the same ingredient combination. These effects may affect balance, work and driving. A new rash, facial or throat swelling, severe breathing difficulty, marked confusion or thoughts of self-harm require urgent medical attention. Pregabalin can cause serious breathing problems, particularly when combined with opioid medicines or other medicines that slow the nervous system, or in people with impaired breathing. Kidney function affects pregabalin clearance and may require the prescriber to adjust treatment. Regular use can lead to physical dependence; stopping suddenly can cause withdrawal symptoms or worsening of the treated condition.
