Common side effects of Myoril Plus Tablet may include nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, blurred vision, dry mouth, weakness, fatigue, skin rash, itching, and edema (swelling). Less common side effects could involve allergic reactions (hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat), liver problems (dark urine, yellowing of the skin or eyes), kidney problems (change in the amount of urine), and cardiovascular issues (chest pain, irregular heartbeat). In rare cases, serious side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding (black, tarry stools, bloody vomit), severe skin reactions (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), and angioedema may occur. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, discontinue use and consult your doctor immediately. This is not an exhaustive list, and other side effects may occur. Always consult with your healthcare provider for medical advice.

Myoril Plus is generally prescribed for short‑term relief of painful muscle spasms associated with acute musculoskeletal conditions, such as low back pain, neck pain, sprains, or strains. It combines a centrally acting muscle relaxant with an analgesic and/or anti‑inflammatory component to reduce muscle spasm, relieve pain, and improve mobility. It is not intended for long‑term continuous use unless specifically advised by a doctor.
The muscle relaxant component of Myoril Plus acts on the central nervous system to decrease excessive muscle tone and interrupt the reflex pathways that maintain spasm. The accompanying analgesic or NSAID component helps reduce pain and, when applicable, local inflammation. This combined effect leads to relief of muscle stiffness, reduction in pain intensity, and improved range of motion in the affected area.
Myoril Plus should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor and according to the instructions on the product label. The dose, frequency, and duration of treatment vary depending on the specific formulation and your clinical condition. Do not exceed the prescribed dose and do not prolong treatment beyond the recommended period. Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food, as directed in the package leaflet. If you are unsure about how to take it, consult your healthcare professional before use.
Whether Myoril Plus can be taken on an empty stomach depends on its exact composition. Products containing NSAIDs are often better tolerated when taken with food to reduce the risk of stomach irritation. If your Myoril Plus formulation includes an NSAID, your doctor or pharmacist may advise taking it with meals. Always follow the specific instructions provided with your product or seek advice from a healthcare professional.
Common side effects reported with medicines like Myoril Plus include drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort, heartburn, and, occasionally, diarrhea or constipation. Some patients may experience mild skin reactions such as rash or itching. Not everyone will experience side effects, and many are transient. However, if side effects are severe, persistent, or worrying, you should contact your doctor promptly.
Myoril Plus should generally be avoided in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, a history of severe allergic reactions to similar muscle relaxants, NSAIDs, or analgesics, active or recurrent peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding (for NSAID‑containing products), severe liver or kidney impairment, or certain neurological conditions as specified in the product information. It may also be unsuitable for patients with uncontrolled epilepsy or those at high risk of seizures, depending on the exact active ingredients. A doctor should review your medical history before prescribing this medicine.
Use of Myoril Plus during pregnancy is not routinely recommended and should only occur if a doctor determines that the potential benefits outweigh the possible risks to the fetus. Some components used in muscle relaxant combinations have limited safety data in pregnancy or may be associated with potential fetal risks, especially at high doses or with prolonged use. If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, you must inform your doctor before starting Myoril Plus.
The safety of Myoril Plus during breastfeeding depends on its specific active ingredients, some of which may pass into breast milk in small amounts. Because of limited data and potential risks to the nursing infant, use during breastfeeding should be carefully evaluated by a doctor. In some cases, an alternative treatment with a better‑established safety profile may be preferred. Do not use Myoril Plus while breastfeeding without medical advice.
Myoril Plus may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or visual disturbances in some individuals, particularly because of its centrally acting muscle relaxant component and, in some formulations, the analgesic component. Until you know how the medicine affects you, you should avoid driving, operating machinery, or performing tasks that require full alertness. If you feel sleepy, dizzy, or less attentive after taking the medicine, do not drive or engage in hazardous activities.
Alcohol can enhance the sedative and dizziness‑inducing effects of centrally acting muscle relaxants and may increase the risk of gastrointestinal or liver side effects when combined with certain analgesics or NSAIDs. It is generally advisable to avoid or strictly limit alcohol consumption while taking Myoril Plus. Discuss your alcohol intake with your doctor so that you can receive individualized advice.
If you miss a scheduled dose of Myoril Plus, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet, as this may increase the risk of side effects. If you frequently forget doses, speak with your doctor or pharmacist about strategies to improve adherence.
You should seek urgent medical attention if you experience symptoms suggestive of a serious reaction, such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, severe skin rash or blistering, sudden severe abdominal pain, vomiting blood, black or tarry stools, yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, severe or persistent headache, confusion, seizures, or marked weakness. These may indicate rare but serious adverse effects involving allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver injury, or neurological complications.
