How MYORIL PLUS TABLET 10'S Works

• Paracetamol relieves pain and reduces fever, though its precise mechanism is not fully understood; it is thought to act mainly within the central nervous system.
• Thiocolchicoside acts on the central nervous system and is thought to enhance the activity of GABA, an inhibitory neurotransmitter, which helps reduce excessive muscle tone and spasm. By combining a muscle relaxant with a pain reliever, the tablet addresses both the spasm and the pain that often accompanies it.

Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, stomach upset and diarrhoea are the most commonly reported effects. Headache, dry mouth and muscle weakness have also been reported. A severe allergic reaction, facial or throat swelling, a widespread skin reaction, or yellowing of the skin or eyes need immediate medical attention. Persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, or unusual bleeding should also be reported to a doctor promptly.

• If you miss a dose of Myoril Plus Tablet 10'S, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

• Store the tablets in their original pack, at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of the reach of children and pets. Do not use the tablets after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Take the tablet after meals to reduce the chance of stomach upset
• Use only for the short duration advised by the prescriber
• Avoid other paracetamol-containing products while taking this tablet
• Avoid alcohol during treatment
• Avoid driving or operating machinery until it is known how this tablet affects alertness
• Seek urgent medical help for facial swelling, a widespread rash, breathing difficulty, or yellowing of the skin or eyes

• Myoril Plus is generally taken after meals to reduce the chance of stomach upset. Alcohol should be avoided during treatment, since it can increase the risk of liver injury and add to drowsiness.
