How NASOCLEAR NASAL DROPS 20 ML Works

• The isotonic saline solution hydrates the lining of the nose and softens dried mucus and crusts, making them easier to clear by gentle blowing or, in infants, by suction. The solution also helps rinse dust, allergens and other irritants from the nasal surface, supporting the natural cleaning action of the tiny hair-like structures, called cilia, that line the nose.
• Because Nasoclear is isotonic, not a concentrated saline solution, it works by moisturising and flushing the nose, not by drawing fluid out of the nasal tissue.

Nasoclear is generally well tolerated. A brief stinging or burning sensation, sneezing, or mild irritation can occur after application, and these usually settle quickly. An allergic or irritant reaction to the preservative, benzalkonium chloride, is uncommon but needs medical attention if a rash, swelling or breathing difficulty occurs. Overuse or forceful application can occasionally lead to a nosebleed.

• If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is close to your next dose, skip the missed dose. Use your next dose at the regular time. Do not use two doses at the same time.

• Store the bottle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat, and out of the reach of children and pets. Do not use the drops after the expiry date printed on the pack, and discard the bottle after the period stated by the manufacturer once it has been opened.

• Nasoclear is used in the nose only, so no food interaction applies. A generally healthy diet and adequate hydration support recovery from the underlying cold or allergy.
