TRIGLUCORED FORTE 15MG TABLET 10'S contains three active ingredients: Glibenclamide, Metformin, and Pioglitazone. Glibenclamide is a sulfonylurea that lowers blood glucose by increasing the amount of insulin generated by the pancreas. Metformin is a biguanide that works by decreasing glucose synthesis in the liver, slowing glucose absorption from the intestines, and boosting insulin sensitivity. Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione that boosts insulin sensitivity.
If you miss a dose of TRIGLUCORED FORTE 15MG TABLET 10'S, skip it and resume your regular regimen. Do not increase the dose.
Medications can sometimes be unsafe when combined with other drugs and foods. Taking them together may result in negative side effects. Make sure to inform your doctor about all of the medications you use.
