While using Nexito Plus Tablet, avoid driving or operating machinery as it can cause dizziness.
Nexito Plus is generally prescribed for the treatment of anxiety disorders and depression, particularly when symptoms such as persistent worry, panic, irritability, and sleep disturbance occur together. It usually combines escitalopram, which helps correct chemical imbalances linked to low mood and anxiety, with clonazepam, which provides short‑term relief from anxiety and agitation. Your doctor decides its use based on your diagnosis and overall health.
The price of Nexito Plus can vary due to differences in local taxes, pharmacy margins, distribution costs, and manufacturer pricing policies. Online pharmacies may offer discounts or promotional offers, while neighborhood pharmacies may have different mark‑ups. Pack size, strength, and regional regulations also influence the final cost. Always compare prices only among licensed pharmacies and avoid suspiciously cheap sources that may sell substandard or counterfeit products.
You should not switch brands on your own, even if another product appears cheaper and has similar ingredients. Different brands may have variations in formulation, quality standards, and release characteristics, which can affect how the medicine works for you. If the price of Nexito Plus is a concern, talk to your doctor. They can confirm whether a particular alternative is medically appropriate and safe in your case and provide a new prescription if needed.
Escitalopram and clonazepam are generally safe for most people with normal liver function when used at prescribed doses, but both are metabolized in the liver. In people with pre‑existing liver disease, dose adjustments or closer monitoring may be required. Inform your doctor if you have hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, or abnormal liver tests. Your doctor may order periodic liver function tests and decide whether Nexito Plus is suitable or if an alternative is better.
Nexito Plus can usually be used in people with normal kidney function without special precautions, but those with moderate to severe kidney impairment may need dose adjustments or an alternative medicine. Always inform your doctor if you have a history of chronic kidney disease, reduced urine output, or are on dialysis. Your doctor will evaluate your kidney function tests and decide the safest treatment plan for you.
Use of Nexito Plus during pregnancy requires careful risk–benefit assessment by a specialist. Escitalopram and clonazepam can cross the placenta, and their use, especially in late pregnancy, may be associated with withdrawal symptoms or breathing difficulties in the newborn. Do not start or stop Nexito Plus on your own if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. Discuss your situation with your psychiatrist and obstetrician so they can decide whether to continue, adjust, or change your treatment.
Both escitalopram and clonazepam can pass into breast milk in varying amounts. In some cases, a doctor may still decide to use Nexito Plus while breastfeeding if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs potential risks to the infant, but close monitoring of the baby for excessive sleepiness, poor feeding, or irritability is essential. Never self‑medicate while breastfeeding. Always consult your doctor before starting, continuing, or stopping Nexito Plus.
Nexito Plus can cause drowsiness, dizziness, slowed reaction time, and impaired concentration, mainly due to the benzodiazepine component. Until you know how the medicine affects you, you should avoid driving, operating heavy machinery, or performing tasks that require full alertness. If you feel sleepy, light‑headed, or less attentive after taking Nexito Plus, do not drive and inform your doctor so they can review your treatment.
Alcohol should be strictly avoided while taking Nexito Plus. Alcohol can significantly increase drowsiness, dizziness, poor coordination, and breathing suppression caused by benzodiazepines, and it may worsen mood and anxiety symptoms. Combining alcohol with Nexito Plus also raises the risk of accidents and dangerous overdose. If you have difficulty avoiding alcohol, inform your doctor so they can provide support or refer you for de‑addiction counseling if needed.
If you have ever had an allergic reaction to escitalopram, clonazepam, other SSRIs, benzodiazepines, or any inactive ingredient in the tablet, you must inform your doctor before starting Nexito Plus. Symptoms such as rash, itching, swelling of the face or throat, severe dizziness, or breathing difficulty after taking similar medicines may indicate an allergy. In such cases, your doctor may avoid Nexito Plus and choose a different treatment. Seek urgent medical help if you develop any signs of a severe allergic reaction after taking a dose.
The benzodiazepine component of Nexito Plus (commonly clonazepam) can cause physical dependence if used for a long time or at higher than prescribed doses. Stopping it suddenly may lead to withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, tremors, or, rarely, seizures. Therefore, Nexito Plus should be used exactly as prescribed, usually for the shortest duration necessary for the benzodiazepine part, and should never be stopped abruptly without medical guidance. Your doctor will advise a gradual taper if discontinuation is planned.
