Adults with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) who do not react to esomeprazole medication alone are treated with Nexpro RD 20 capsules. This disorder causes acid from the stomach to reflux into the food pipe, resulting in acidity, heartburn, and chest pain.
It shouldn't be taken after eating because food affects how well this medication is absorbed. Therefore, it should ideally be consumed at least an hour before eating.
The effect of one dose of Nexpro RD 20 capsule lasts around an hour.
