Allergies
AllergiesDo not use NIFECAINE CREAM 30 GM if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients.
Nifecaine Cream is primarily used to provide local anesthesia for minor surgical procedures, cosmetic treatments like laser hair removal, and to relieve pain associated with certain skin conditions.
Apply a thick layer of the cream to the affected area at least 30-60 minutes before the procedure. Cover the area with an occlusive dressing (like plastic wrap) to enhance absorption. Follow your doctor's instructions.
Common side effects include redness, itching, burning sensation, or mild swelling at the application site. These are usually temporary.
It is generally not recommended to use Nifecaine Cream on open wounds or broken skin unless specifically directed by your doctor.
Consult your doctor before using Nifecaine Cream if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. They can assess the risks and benefits.
Seek immediate medical attention or contact a poison control center if Nifecaine Cream is swallowed.
Inform your doctor about all medications, supplements, and topical products you are using before starting Nifecaine Cream. While interactions are rare, it's important to be cautious.
The numbing effect of Nifecaine Cream typically lasts for 1-2 hours, depending on the amount applied and individual factors.
Store Nifecaine Cream at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
Nifecaine Cream typically contains lidocaine and prilocaine as its active ingredients. Check the product label for the complete list.
Yes, generic versions of lidocaine/prilocaine creams are available. Check with your pharmacist for options.
While it might provide temporary relief, it's best to consult a doctor for appropriate treatment options for hemorrhoids.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, such as hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, or tongue.
Nifecaine Cream contains lidocaine and prilocaine, which are local anesthetics. They work by blocking nerve signals in the area where the cream is applied, thus reducing pain or discomfort.
The primary difference often lies in the concentration of active ingredients (lidocaine and prilocaine) and the specific formulation. Some creams may also contain additional ingredients. Always consult with your doctor or pharmacist to determine the best option for your needs.
