About NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION

  • NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION is a medicine that contains a protein called Factor VII. This protein is a natural part of your body's process for stopping bleeding. It helps blood to clot properly. Think of blood clotting as a chain reaction – Factor VII plays an important role in getting that chain started quickly to form a stable clot and stop the bleeding. This injection is specifically used when your body isn't clotting blood as it should, leading to excessive or prolonged bleeding.
  • One of the main uses of NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION is to treat sudden bleeding episodes in people with hemophilia A or B. Hemophilia is a condition where the blood doesn't clot normally. Some people with hemophilia develop what are called 'inhibitors'. These are like antibodies that attack the Factor VIII or Factor IX proteins that their bodies need for clotting. When these inhibitors are present, standard hemophilia treatments don't work well.
