How POLYBION ACTIVE SYRUP 150 ML Works

• Thiamine, riboflavin and niacinamide act as cofactors that help the body convert carbohydrate, protein and fat from food into usable energy. Pyridoxine supports protein metabolism and the formation of neurotransmitters, the chemical messengers used by nerve cells. Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, is needed for normal nerve function and the formation of red blood cells.
• D-panthenol is converted in the body to pantothenic acid, which is needed to make coenzyme A, a molecule central to energy metabolism and tissue repair. L-lysine, an essential amino acid the body cannot make on its own, supports protein synthesis and general tissue maintenance.

Nausea, an upset stomach and diarrhoea are the most commonly reported effects, particularly if the syrup is taken on an empty stomach. Niacinamide can occasionally cause a feeling of warmth or flushing, and headache has also been reported. An allergic reaction to any ingredient is uncommon but needs immediate medical attention if it occurs. Persistent gastrointestinal symptoms should be reported to a doctor.

• If you miss a dose of POLYBION ACTIVE SYRUP, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

• Store the bottle in its original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of the reach of children and pets. Keep it at room temperature. Do not use the syrup after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Shake the bottle well before each use and use the calibrated cup or spoon provided
• Take the syrup after a meal to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset
• Avoid combining this supplement with other multivitamin products without checking the total daily amount
• Do not rely on this supplement as a substitute for a balanced diet
• Seek medical advice for persistent gastrointestinal symptoms or any unusual reaction

• Polybion Active can be taken with or without food, though taking it with food can improve absorption and reduce the chance of stomach upset.
• No specific alcohol interaction has been established, but chronic alcohol use can itself impair absorption of B vitamins and contribute to the deficiencies this supplement is used to correct.
